Cécile & Salvatore
fter twenty years together in Paris, where we met during an Erasmus program at the Sorbonne, Cécile and I returned to Italy, a country we consider one of the most beautiful in the world.
Offering our guests a serene, intimate, and welcoming environment is the idea that inspired us to open our property in 2015. Our rooms, located in a historic building dating back to 1835, have been carefully renovated and furnished with antique family furniture and objects.
We will welcome you here in Turin, World Capital of Taste, in our rooms, combined with Salvatore’s nutritionist practice and our Mediterranean food education association, Mediterran, founded together with a group of Italian-French friends.
écile comes from a family of French diplomats who, starting from Normandy, and passing through Paris, China, and Japan, eventually settled in the south of France, where she was born. She has also worked in the field of theatre and contemporary circus, and today she teaches French at an international school in Turin.
alvatore Alessandro is a biologist and nutritionist. He comes from an ancient family of the Royal Saltworks of Apulia. He works in international cooperation for the Mediterranean within the framework of the United Nations, and was involved, at the UNESCO Mediterranean Programme based in Paris, in the 2010 inscription of the Mediterranean Diet on the lists of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
